Review breakdown

BetVictor platform has been around for a long time, although it has gone through several name changes. Founded in 1946, the sportsbook focused on the racing grounds for horses and greyhounds. After moving its operations to Gibraltar in 1998, the company has focused on online sports betting and has become one of the biggest online sportsbooks in the world, with more than half-a-million customers in over 130 countries.

BetVictor has always been one of the sportsbooks that is not afraid to push the envelope and implement changes and innovations in their practice. BetVictor launched an iOS mobile app in 2014, while the Android version was launched a year later, in 2015.

Betopin has prepared a detailed review of BetVictor’s mobile app, including an overview of the features, usability, betting markets, and payment option. If you are thinking of giving the BetVictor mobile app a try, read on.

BetVictor App Review – How It Performs

Usability

We came away very impressed with the usability of BetVictor’s mobile app. The app can be downloaded from either the App Store or Google Play store. The app size concerned us a bit since it was over 60 megabytes, but that ended up unfounded. The app runs smoothly on several iOS and Android devices we have tested.

We found our way around the app quickly and soon it felt like second nature. The experience using the BetVictor mobile app was rewarding, and we think that this is the strong point of the app. As long as your mobile device is not obsolete, the mobile app should perform well.

Graphics

BetVictor outdid themselves here. After reading about the fact that the app was developed in-house, we always had concerns about the design and user interface. In-house teams tend to focus on functionality and features, while often forgetting about the user experience. This could not be further from the truth when it comes to the BetVictor mobile app.

The app features a modern design with a fantastic user interface. The relevant content is eye-catching and highlighted; the interface is clean and easy to use. Most of the features of the app can be reached within a click or two. Overall, visually, it is one of the best looking mobile apps we have tested here at Betopin.

Market Access

BetVictor made sure to offer cross-platform access to their betting markets, and the mobile app is no exception. All of the betting markets that are provided on the desktop platform are available on the mobile app as well. The experience is seamless and you will not feel a difference switching between the platforms.

BetVictor’s betting market offer has steadily improved over the years, and now they feature an impressive selection of major and minor sports competitions and leagues. Whether you are a fan of soccer, basketball, tennis, motorsports, rugby or various American professional sports, BetVictor has you covered.

Live Streaming

This is the first low-point of BetVictor’s mobile app we have encountered in testing. The app does offer live streaming, but the streaming offer is severely limited and focused on horse and greyhound racing. We have tested the streams, and they are of high quality and offer a flawless viewing experience on the mobile device.

The second issue we encountered was that the live streaming is available only for the registered users that have placed a bet on a particular racing event of at least £1. We have no problems with the streaming being open only to registered members, but the bet requirement seems excessive. Even funded accounts will not be able to access the streaming content without a placed bet.

Not everything is negative in the live streaming arena. The mobile platform seems to offer high-quality streaming that could improve in the future with the addition of other sports and events.

Compatibility

BetVictor’s mobile app has been around for just a few years and, logically, they have decided to focus on the two major mobile platforms, iOS, and Android. The app is available for download in both the App Store and Google Play store. We didn’t notice any major differences in app functionality across the platforms, and there were no stability issues.

The support for other mobile platforms is currently provided only through the mobile version of the desktop platform, which can be accessed via a mobile browser on other devices.

Navigation

Another area where BetVictor mobile app excels is navigation. The central part of the mobile screen is reserved for the betting markets feed, where the most popular and trending markets are listed for easy access and betting. The header of the application hosts the home button, in-play markets button, and the most popular sports at BetVictor.

Above the header, there is a user panel, where you can access your account, check your balance or deposit additional funds. There is also a link to a mailbox where messages from BetVictor are stored. The top-left corner is reserved for a drop-down menu where the full-assortment of BetVictore mobile app features can be accessed.

Overall, the navigation was intuitive and easy to master. We found no significant bottlenecks when browsing the markets, preparing betting slips or accessing account information. The experience was flawless.

Payment Options

BetVictor provides top-notch payment options support. All major debit and credit cards are accepted, and the deposits are instantaneous. The same can be said for eWallets such as Skrill, Neteller, and PayPal. Finally, there is an option to connect your bank account to your BetVictor account and make direct deposits that way. Unfortunately, those transfers take anywhere from 2 to 3 working days to clear.

The withdrawals are available to all the mentioned payment methods and usually take 24 hours to process by BetVictor. The funds might be in your accounts a bit later since each payment processor has a different processing procedure. BetVictor mobile app offers secure deposits and withdrawals and quick ways to manage your balance.

Welcome Offers/Promotions

BetVictor Welcome Offer

BetVictor currently offers one of the best Welcome Offers to new customers. With your first £5 bet when registering onto the platform, you will receive a bonus of up to £40. To be eligible for this promotion you have to be a new customer, and you need to place a bet of at least £5 on odds of 2.0 or higher no later than seven days after registering your account.

BetVictor will provide you with a £10 free single bet to use on any sport of your choice with odds of 2.0 or higher and a £10 free accumulator bet on any sport of your choice with at least three matches selected. An additional £20 casino bonus is awarded to be spent on casino games.

The winnings from the free bets can be immediately withdrawn and are not subject to wagering requirements. £20 casino bonus is subject to 40x wagering requirements. After wagering the £20 amount at least 40x on casino games of your choice (except baccara), whatever is left in your casino account will be available for withdrawal.

Conclusions

Overall, we came away impressed by BetVictor mobile app. The experience was nearly flawless if there wasn’t for the fact that the current live streaming offer is not up to par. We can’t put this on the mobile app since the same level of service is offered through the desktop platform as well.

In all other aspects, the mobile app shined. Fantastic user interface and modern design make the user experience immersive and intuitive. The customer support and payment options are great as well. All in all, this is one of the better mobile apps we have tested, and we highly recommend it. We also hope that the live streaming service will improve over time, making the BetVictor mobile app one of the best on the market.
