Tuesday’s Horse Racing NAP of The Day
Tips provided by The Finishing Lines Andrew Halligan
Punchestown 1.50 – Front View
Front View was quite a decent bumper horse when taking a bumper at the Punchestown Festival with and was second to Champion Bumper second Blue Sari at Gowran Park on Thyestes day.
The current favourite for this race Cedarwood Road was a long way behind Front View at the Punchestown bumper, but, he has since gone on to bolt up in a maiden hurdle at Leopardstown. But why he is favourite is beyond me.
Front View to me, is by far the best horse in this. Second to the Ballymore Novice Hurdle favourite, Envoi Allen before going onto win in great style at Cork where he beat Uhtred who has since gone on to and won a listed bumper in fine style.
Fellow smart bumper performer Beacon Lodge should play his part, but, I think Front View will improve again today and be extremely hard to beat.
Front View is best priced 5/2 with Betfair.
Punchestown 4.00 – Forza Milan (each way)
One that really caught my eye last month was Forza Milan. He finished second to National Hunt Chase favourite Carefully Selected in a Grade 3 on the 26th of January and that was a lovely run to have before a crack at his first handicap.
Previously trained by Jonjo O Neill who held him in high regard he had some very good hurdle form but his chase career didn’t really take off for him. But, since been switched to James Nash he has turned a corner and a mark of 138 is very exploitable when you take into account that Kevin Broder will be taking off a further 7lb he has a huge chance been upped into this marathon trip.
You can get 5 places in with Paddy Power, so, at 10/1 he is a great each-way bet.
Forza Milan is best priced 10/1 with Paddy Power.
